Kat has a degree in Game Art and Design from the Art Institute in Schaumburg, and is currently a free lance artist and tattoo apprentice. In fact, she designed that tattoo I have on my left shoulder blade. She’s an awesome lady and pretty much kick ass at Resident Evil 5, if I do say so myself. She will be having her first articles popping up on the site tonight, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us. Kristi and I are super excited to have her join the team.

Update: 1/9/10
Well, it’s a new year. Kristi and I really slacked off on the site… and we’re sorry. Everything had been crazy and with new jobs and such we neglected out baby. Life has taken some interesting turns especially for Kristi, and we really hope that in the long run they’re worth while.
But – we’re back, and with a new passion. A stronger passion than we have ever had before. So… we’ve already started getting a lot done… so here’s what news.

So, one of the things that had been pulling me away from Thoughts from a (Girl) Gamer is the fact that I was working for another website/non-profit group. I’m proud of the things that I have been doing over there so we added a page where you could track the things I’ve been doing at AbleGamers. It has all of my articles, as well as links to me and Kristi’s AbleGamers profiles, and my accessibility reviews. We would love for you to take the time to check it out.

Alright, for those of you who know me personally, you know I am very anti-Twitter… but Kristi made on for us so I might as well go on and use it… (although I resent Kristi for doing it…. IT’S LIKE SIGNING OUR SOUL OVER TO THE DEVIL!) But my loathing of Twitter aside… follow us! There is now a link over next to the “Becoming our Fan on Facebook” link. So… go do it.

Well, first we split games into two sections. Game news and game reviews. Then we added a new section – The Tara and Kristi Blog. It’s basically more about our life than anything in particular, but we thought it would be nice for you guys to see what we are up to.

my first stick was a modded HRAP1.
That is something I might be able to do. I’m totally going to put pictures of mine up when Brian gets it done. We’re waiting on some parts right now.
